Mightiest Happens - Hello Doghouse 2

Mightiest happens!

"Mighty are the one's who stand the test of time
Mightier still are the one's who bring them down.
Like the roar of the thunder,
Or the pour of chunder.
Like the Flash of lightning,
Or the rash of whitening.

Ha, Ha, Ha laughs the jester of time,
Nay, nay, nay whines the wife of eternity.
"Who be these people"
Cries the King of our lives.

"We be us, sire"
Do they reply?
"And we shall say"
"Mighty are the one's who stand the test of time
Mightier still are the one's who bring them down."

"And what does that mean?" Ask's the king,
With his ring he does cling.
And whisper's a snicker from the liquor soaked Jester.
"You are the mighty"
Moans the queen, his dear wife for all of time.

"And I shall fall?" He ask's from atop of his stall.
"Perhaps yes, and perhaps nay" They all say.
" Well we shall see!" He did reply with his eye on all of they.

With a crash and a bang, he does fall.
Like the sound's of thunder balls.
Who did slay this mighty man?
He shall be the mightiest of them all?

"I am the mighty of the might." Yell's he with a trumpet's note.
"Who is that? Who is he?" Ask those around the slain king.

" I am me, and you are you. But I am now the newest King."
"And who sir are you?" Asks the queen or so she had been.
"I am the writer, the man who dictate's what happens." Smile's he who wears the new crown.

The jester leaps, as those around shall continue to weep,
“Yes, yes he is the mightiest, for no King shall be free or his
Tools of torment. For no King shall be judged without his words,
It is the writer that has the final say! That is why he did slay,
The old King.”

The Jester danced, or perhaps merely pranced, but it was with glee
That the old were replaced with this glee.

The Knights lunged and prepared to plunge, but they were were
Checked by the pen. Not a crossing of swords, just the writers
Pen, did stop they.

“And in this new realm I dictate that the Jester shall inherit the
Fame. No one else can make this claim!” The writer dictated.

And with time the Knight did pass, the King long gone and the Jesters
Now forever revered.

So I guess he who falls the mighty is the mightiest of them all.
Telling us, that the pen is truly mightier than the sword.

And that the Jester is no fool, for the fool is those that look up to him.
